About Kim

An award-winning singer-songwriter and musician, Kim Dalton was encouraged at the young age of five by her grandmother and musical family to follow her talent and passion for singing. Lead roles in school musicals and a music scholarship to Providence College followed.

Dalton has been electrifying audiences at some of the top venues throughout Rhode Island, New Jersey and New York City, in addition to being tapped to headline at high-level political fundraisers, charity events and upscale restaurants.

While covering American Standards to evoke emotion and feelings of promise and hope, Dalton also writes her own original music following the same mission. “I started writing uplifting, positive, encouraging music to make people happy,” says Dalton.

Dalton’s holiday album, “Christmas Serenade” continues to be a favorite amongst her fans, featuring her original song of the same title, along with the classics such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Silent Night, interpreted in Dalton’s own unique way.

When not performing at the area’s top events and venues, Dalton can be found sharing her musical talent in nursing homes and has been called a “music therapist” for uplifting the spirits of the elderly. Again, Dalton continues to spread happiness to audiences of all ages with her radiant voice and inspiring music.

“Dalton isn’t just some fly-by-night songstress; she earned a degree in music from Providence College. Although she can play the guitar, the multi-talented Dalton says, ‘My main instrument is my voice.’ And what a voice she has—smooth, crystal and sultry.”

“She is a beauty with talent and confidence, and began her song softly…But by the time she reached the chorus, she was belting it out with so much strength, I thought Ronstadt was on stage.
